Investment Property - BUNYIP

Abbey and Ryan bought their first investment property within a township of Gippsland. They love the location of the house, but it was run down and lacking the functionality of newer builds. After friends used and recommended MC Custom Builds, Abbey and Ryan brought the team on to transform the home. THE HILLS - ARBOR AVE

Bek and her family decided on a ‘hills’ change, after living in suburbia. The previous owners had renovated prior to selling, however she noted they had ‘only done half the job’. The exterior cladding wasn’t finished, the laundry was far too large and not a functional use of space. The bathroom had been updated but there were leaks present and re-roofing of the home was still required. Talking about her overall experience of working with the MC team, given Bek was working from home during the construction phase, she says that,

‘The whole team have a sense of perfectionism. They are such easy going and relaxed personalities but work with a high standard of finish. Nathan and Tim keep a close eye on their sub-contractors, regularly checking on their progress. They protected all our existing surfaces and at the end of every day they would leave our home in an absolute spotless condition.’

Bek noted she appreciated the suggestions the MC team made along the way, always giving her at least a couple of suggestions to consider when she requested a change.  In fact, in a couple of years’  she says,

‘We will be doing further upgrades on our home and will have the MC Custom Builds team in straight away!’.

RURAL REJUVENATION - GARFIELD NORTH

Mark and Helen built their treasured family home almost 30 years ago located on their acreage property in Garfield North, Gippsland. Whilst the interior was in need of some updating, there was no need to alter what was a perfectly functioning layout. The MC team were engaged in 2017; Mark says,

‘We had no idea what we wanted other than to freshen up our home - with a reno. With no idea where to start, the team came on board from the beginning with endless ideas and suggestions for us to consider. Even with our tight budget, the transformation was incredible. Exactly what we wanted, even though we didn’t know it to begin with!’

Punctuality and continued communication with the team was an unexpected delight for Mark and Helen noting that, ‘When MC said they were going to turn up, they actually turned up!’ Helen and Mark were impressed that MC Custom Builds could organise everything for them, even though they initially weren’t aware of what they wanted other than a “freshen up”.  Helen says,

‘They organised everything, even to the tiniest details of colour co-ordinating the new carpet flooring to our existing kitchen and dining tiles.’

BELOVED HOME - BAYLES
